More information

I have earned my PhD at the Corvinus University Budapest, International Relations Multidisciplinary Doctoral School. I am the program director of the International Economy and Business Master programme since January 2020. I was a visiting professor at the University of Leeds, EM Strasbourg, University College London and Jagiellonian University in recent years. I have been involved in several international double degree programmes such as SCRIBE21, IMESS and two Horizon 2020 research programmes. I am currently working on two themes: one is finding the connection between economic insecurity and how this influences voting behaviour, while the second one is analysing asylum seeker destination choices.

What our students think

Kateryna Lytvynenko
4th semester
Ukrain

“One well-known economist J.M. Keynes told once: “The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones”. This is one quote that should be true for us, due to the reason, that when we study the new theories of economics, we shouldn’t forget about the old ones. Master Program in International Economy and Business at Corvinus University of Budapest gives every student a huge opportunity to study deeper economics and business, apply complex economic theories, business strategies, choose your specialization and practice your knowledge during class projects and negotiations.”
