Get familiar with relevant concepts, principles, models, theories and methodology of modern economics. We will provide you with the analytical methods used by economists working in business, policy and research.
The Applied Economics BSc programme makes you familiar with many exciting tasks: How to modelize the real world? How to develop your data analysis skills and quantitative competences? How to improve your problem-solving abilities and critical thinking? It includes studying a wide variety of concepts, participating in major group projects and presentations – making you the perfect asset to any company, public or private organisation.
Upon graduation, you will be able to examine the underlying incentives of social phenomena to try to extract meaning from data, to making models and forecasts and then find the explanation to major issues.

“Personally speaking, I have fallen in love with the Hungarian spirit and the Corvinus spirit! What’s more, studying in Corvinus lets me step out of my comfort zone and gives me the chance to change my life and move forwards. Applied Economics is everything I need to pursue my goals. Many of my classmates are from all over the world, which lets me see different cultures and that’s really exciting. I am very happy and proud to be a Corvinus student.”
